Elizabeth (Beth) Smith

Elizabeth G. Smith maintains her office in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Smith obtained her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 1982 and she is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts of the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit as well as all Texas courts.


Ms. Smith is a member of the State Bar of Texas, College of the State Bar of Texas, the Federal Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, San Antonio Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Bexar County Women's Bar Association and the San Antonio Real Estate Discussion Group.


Ms. Smith has extensive civil litigation experience involving a wide range of litigation matters. Her civil litigation experience includes the following areas of law: debtor and creditor law, extensively in the area of bankruptcy law; commercial litigation (defensive and offensive); probate law (creditor representation); landlord/tenant and related rental property matters; usury litigation matters; deceptive trade practices matters; and real property litigation.


Ms. Smith has also represented clients in federal and state appellate matters, having argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Texas Supreme Court.
